Is ETIASPro the official ETIAS website?
No. We are a private, independent guide. Here’s exactly what we are and what we are not.
Last reviewed: 27 May 2026
Direct answer
No. ETIASPro is not the official ETIAS website and is not affiliated with the European Union. The only official ETIAS site is travel-europe.europa.eu/etias.
Official vs ETIASPro vs lookalike sites
| Official EU website | ETIASPro | Risky lookalike sites | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Purpose | The actual ETIAS application, once open | Plain-English information and (later) optional help | Charging for things you don’t need yet |
| Who runs it | European Union (europa.eu) | Independent private guide | Unknown third parties |
| Can you apply today? | Not yet | No — we don’t take applications | Often claims yes |
| Takes payment today? | No | No | Often |
| Collects passport details today? | No | No | Sometimes — be cautious |
| What to watch for | Always look for the europa.eu domain | We say loudly that we are private and independent | Urgency fees, EU mimicry, premium add-ons |
Why we say this so clearly
Government-adjacent travel websites can confuse people. We’d rather lose a conversion than let someone think we are the EU.
How to spot the official site
- Official EU sites use the europa.eu domain.
- The EU will not ask you for an “urgency fee” or premium charge for ETIAS.
- The official application has not opened. Be very cautious of any site asking for passport details or money for ETIAS before the official system has opened.
What ETIASPro is
A private website that publishes plain, dated answers about ETIAS — when it launches, who needs it, and what to expect. We cite EU sources where relevant and we’re independent.
What ETIASPro is not
- Not a government website.
- Not an authorised application portal (there isn’t one yet).
- Not affiliated with the EU, the European Commission, or any national authority.
